Description
Processing Characteristics
It features a 90° lead angle, ensuring excellent perpendicularity for right-angle sidewalls and step-milling operations. The optimized chip-breaker geometry minimizes cutting resistance, facilitates smooth chip evacuation, and provides strong vibration resistance. The cutting edge boasts high strength, making it highly resistant to intermittent cutting and edge chipping. It is suitable for machining carbon steel, cast iron, and pre-hardened mold steel (up to HRC55), and is ideal for both roughing and semi-finishing applications. Highly versatile, indexable, and cost-effective, it is well-suited for heavy-stock removal in mold making and general mechanical machining; however, due to its standard precision level, it is not recommended for machining ultra-hard materials or for high-precision finishing operations.
