Description
Processing Characteristics
It features a sharp cutting edge that facilitates light, free-cutting action, ensuring smooth chip evacuation and resistance to material adhesion. It also offers high positioning accuracy. Primarily designed for the semi-finishing and finishing of steel, stainless steel, and cast iron, it is suitable for machining external diameters, faces, internal bores, and simple contours. Constructed from an ultra-fine-grain carbide substrate enhanced with a PVD coating, it exhibits excellent wear resistance, high-temperature stability, and dimensional consistency. Its limitations include relatively lower edge strength and moderate impact resistance; consequently, it is not recommended for heavy-duty roughing, interrupted heavy cutting operations, or the machining of ultra-hard materials (HRC 55+).
